You'll want shoes with a good sole, you can walk behind the waterfall at the top of this and the rocks are really slippery. Also, sunscreen and water are a good idea.
Join us for a waterfall hike! Tamanawas Falls is a beautiful and classic PNW waterfall hike, with an easy rating and a 3.4 mile roundtrip distance. We will meet at Collins Lake Resort to carpool to the trailhead. Fun fact, Blair once lost a cell phone here on a Training Camp outing when she was 15, first person to find it wins Blair's mom's eternal gratitude. Call or text Jaron (321-591-0437) or Blair (719-439-2882) for more info on exactly where to meet closer to the day.

Come as you are
In lieu of a rehearsal dinner, Jaron and I would like to post an open invitation to come have some beers and pizza at the Ratskeller the night before the wedding. So many of you are coming from afar and we want to be able to spend as much time with you as possible. Don't let the name fool you, the Ratskeller is a ski bum institution, voted best ski bar in Oregon. We have reserved half of the outdoor courtyard and pre-ordered some appetizers and pizzas, so come hang out, eat, drink, and be merry!
3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
This event is Semi-Formal, more information found on the FAQ page. Please do not wear heeled shoes for your own safety.
The shuttle to the wedding will start running between Collins Lake Resort, The Grand Lodges, and the Best Western starting at 2:15 and running until 2:45. If you are staying elsewhere, you can either drive yourself or you can head to one of these three spots and catch the shuttle too. If you have any questions please call or text Blair's mom at 719-330-8983. Please bring a mask and wear it anytime you are interacting with staff, as requested by the venue. The ceremony site is a short chairlift ride to mid-mountain, overlooking all 11,250 ft. of Mt.Hood. Following the ceremony there will be a Champagne Toast and passed hors d'oeuvres and then we will all take a short walk to the top of the alpine slide, where you can slide down to the reception. You can also take the chairlift down, or a shuttle if you're unable. There will then be cocktail hour at the reception tent, followed by dinner, and we will then proceed to party the night away.

Come as you are!
Because covid ruins everything our original plan to have a BBQ at a close by campsite has fallen through, but we think our back-up plan will be equally as fun. Feel free to come to Mt.Hood Meadows on Saturday afternoon to bask in the glory that is Mt.Hood. Mt.Hood Meadows is the ski resort that sits on the side of this volcano, and it is open for skiing all year round thanks to the glacier that lives on it. Don't try to make sense of it, it's just science. There is a beer garden and snacks at the bottom of the lifts, and you can (and should) get a lift pass and head to the top for the views or a hike. Hot tip: get your ticket in advance through their website to save some money. This is not a formal or required wedding event, just a casual and fun way for us to see you all again before folks head home.
