For Villa Clodia and apartment guests - please contact Villa Clodia directly to arrange your shuttle (info@villaclodia.com) For hotel guests - please contact your hotel directly to arrange your shuttle For Airbnb guests - please contact your Airbnb host directly to arrange your shuttle Remember that Manziana is a small town, so shuttles will need to be booked far in advance of your travel date.

Train

Trenitalia

While living in Rome, we took Trenitalia to travel throughout Italy many times. It is a great option for a cheaper price (starting at $11) and not as intimidating as it may seem! The travel from the Rome Airport to Manziana is a two hour ride that includes one transfer. If you are staying in Manziana, to book, make your departing station "Fiumicino Airport" and your destination "Manziana-Canale Monterano." Once you arrive in Manziana, the train station is walking distance or a short taxi away from Villa Clodia, Airbnbs, and the apartments. If you are staying in Bracciano, to book, make your departing station "Fiumicino Airport" and your destination "Bracciano." Once you arrive in Bracciano, the train station is a 7 minute taxi to both recommended hotels.

Manziana is a tiny town and very walkable (though hilly) with a small train station to get around, but if you wish to stay in nearby Bracciano, a car would be nice to have.

Villa Clodia Relais

Guests that will be staying at Villa Clodia include immediate family and some of the bridal party. If you are someone staying in the Villa, we will reach out! If you prefer to stay in one of the other accommodations, just let us know as soon as possible! Payments for staying at Villa Clodia will be made directly to Sofia, who paid for the stay in advance.

There are fifteen apartments walking distance from Villa Clodia that are available on a first come, first serve basis. We highly recommend taking advantage of these while they're available! If you would like to book an apartment, contact Villa Clodia directly and specify that you are booking for our wedding (info@villaclodia.com).

Travel Note

Airbnbs

There are many Airbnb options in Manziana that are walkable from Villa Clodia. Another nearby town is Bracciano, a ten minute train ride from Manziana. If you decide to stay in a Bracciano Airbnb and do not get a rental car, please let us know and make sure it is walking distance from one of our recommended hotels so that you can utilize their shuttle services the night of the wedding since the train only runs until 10 pm.

This hotel was one recommended by Villa Clodia. It is located in Bracciano, a 15 minute drive or 10 minute train ride from Manziana. As of now, plan to taxi or (preferably) have a rental car if staying in Bracciano because the train only runs until 10 pm and the wedding is scheduled to last until midnight. If we have a high number of guests that opt to stay in Bracciano, we will see if a shuttle to and from the wedding to Bracciano needs to be arranged. Please let us know if you decide to stay in a Bracciano hotel and would like a shuttle so that travel plans can be made!
