Things To Do
Piazza Tommaso Tittoni
Manziana is your classic, Italian, small town. Live out your Italian dream here by walking to cafes for cappuccinos in the morning, visiting the local shops and churches, and having extra gelato for dessert (I recommend Stracciatella).
Orsini-Odescalchi Castle
Bracciano is only a ten minute train ride from Manziana, and it is home of "one of the most impressive castles in Italy, Europe and the world." People travel from all over Italy to take in one of the few renaissance castles in the country that is open to the public.
Lake Bracciano
With a short train ride and walk or bus to the lake, explore the beaches of Lago di Bracciano, take a windsurfing class, or enjoy a nice meal at a nearby restaurant.
Rome
We can't possibly recommend Rome enough! It is a 45 minute drive or two hour train ride from Manziana, but highly worth it if you have the time. Reach out to Sofia or Michael for some of our favorite Rome spots if you plan to make the trip.
