Fran and Mary met through their Chemical Engineering classes. Since then, they have traveled through Europe, moved to different parts of the South, completed a Master's program during the pandemic, each got engaged, and talked on the phone almost every week. To Mary’s delight, Fran’s visits to Houston are typically centered around shopping and going out to eat. We are looking forward to Fran and John’s wedding in August!

Gannon and Chris's friendship began as freshman year roommates at Lehigh. Their shared passion for Halo cemented their bond, making it an easy choice to remain roommates through senior year. Gannon later purchased a home just a few blocks from Chris's parents. He's become a regular fixture there, often stepping in (in Chris's absence) to lend a hand or borrow tools.

Becca lived across the hall from Mary during their freshman year at Lehigh. They were roommates every year after that. They bonded over their love of goldfish and chocolates, later evolving to a love of chickpeas and tofu. Becca has the best recommendations about what to read and watch. They are somewhat content that they received partial answers about the goats on the show “Severance.”

Anika and Mary graduated from Lehigh together but did not meet until after school when their first jobs took them to the middle of rural PA. They were instant friends who bonded over going on walks, drinking tea and learning to crochet. They both escaped to Houston a year later. Mary and Chris were lucky enough to travel to Anika’s home in Zimbabwe to spend time with her family. Anika and Mary still go on walks together whenever they get the chance.
