This is a huge attraction in the Poconos with white water rafting, zip lining, a tree ropes course, and biking. There are also adorable shops and restaurants. Jim Thorpe is 40 minutes from Glasbern.
Valley Forge National Historical Park
Miles of paved or dirt trails and a sweet visitor center with a whole timeline of the battle of Valley Forge. You can also rent bikes from the encampment store! An hour from Glasbern. We love running here! More details via VIEW button.
Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum

Philadelphia Museum of Art
One of Rowan's favorite Philadelphia things. The impressionist section is so fun. Fun fact Winston Churchill has a painting in here! This is also where the Rocky steps and statue are. One hour from Glasbern. Click VIEW button for tickets.
The Mütter Museum at The College of Physicians of Philadelphia
Museum of medical history showing anatomical specimens and medical equipment from the 19th century. Has a cast and the livers of conjoined twins from the 1800s. One hour from Glasbern. Click VIEW button for tickets and hours.
Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts
We haven't been here yet, but the VIEW button will take you to many performing arts shows and options. Depending on the event, there are different locations. You can see dance, music, and theater! There are other places to see performing arts in Philadelphia too, so this is a just one option! There are also many movie theaters around Allentown or Philadelphia if you'd prefer film!
The Philadelphia Orchestra
