Awesome park walking distance form our apartment in Dallas, TX. This park is known for being a little green haven in the urban sprawl of Dallas. They also have a restaurant/bar and plenty of food truck options. Conveniently located across the street from two museums for Dallas Art and Sculptures.
Dallas Zoo

Probably the closest thing to check out if you don't want to go into the city. A 30 minutes drive from the Holiday Inn and a great way to kill an afternoon.
