San Diego International Airport

San Diego International Airport is the closest airport to La Jolla, located about 12 miles (roughly a 20–25 minute drive) from Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa. The airport offers a variety of rental car, rideshare, and shuttle options, making it easy to get to and from your accommodations. We recommend allowing extra travel time if you’ll be arriving or departing during peak weekend hours.

Amtrak Pacific Surfliner

If you’re traveling from Southern California, the Pacific Surfliner offers a scenic and stress-free way to get to San Diego. This coastal Amtrak route runs from San Luis Obispo down to downtown San Diego, with stunning ocean views along the way. The closest station to La Jolla is Solana Beach, about a 20-minute drive from Estancia. From the station, you can take a rideshare, taxi, or rental car to the hotel. It’s a wonderful option for skipping traffic while enjoying a beautiful journey down the coast!
