Moraya Haley & David Forrest

Wedding Party

Our Wedding Party — Our Forever Crew

Madison Shaw

Maid of Honor

Madison and Moraya go way back. They first crossed paths through mutual friends in high school, but officially met when they were 18 while working at Squatters, SLC's local microbrewery. From day one, they were inseparable — true soul sisters. They lived together during college, shared countless adventures, and even ended up working together again after graduation. Madison and Moraya are the two friends that fly by the seat of their pants living spontaneously, enjoying fully, and laughing until they cry. Those two love to wine & dine, meet random friends, and book last minute trips. Through every twist and turn, Madison has been a constant in Moraya’s life. She’s an incredible athlete and soccer player, with a competitive spirit and drive that shows up in everything she does. Madison has also always been deeply spiritual — a shining light for Moraya through her early adult years, helping her navigate adulthood, self-acceptance, and the meaning of true love. Today, Madison lives in Santa Barbara, CA with her beloved fur baby, Lila. She’s passionate about fitness, creative design, breathwork, meditation, and always finding new ways to stay inspired.

Jared Proctor

Best Man

Jared & David met during their sophomore year of high school, and from day one, Jared had a reputation for mischief. David swears he was never involved in any of it (sure, David). The two quickly became close friends, with a bond built on wild stories and ridiculous adventures. One of their most legendary? In college, David called Jared out of the blue and said, “I just paid off the credit card—we’re driving cross-country.” The plan: head from New Hampshire to British Columbia to see Jasper National Park and Mt. Robson, the tallest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Without hesitation, Jared said, “Let’s do it.” The two hit the road, hauling an absurd amount of gear, and spent weeks exploring remote corners of Canada. Jared, the loyal sidekick, played camera assistant while David worked his manual cameras to capture the epic scenery. Their adventures didn’t stop there. For several years, they filmed the World Freeskiing Tour together in Jackson Hole—an experience that blended their love for mountains, adrenaline, and creative work. And of course, there were countless parties, throwing fireworks in public places, and wrestling matches that left rooms looking like crime scenes (apologies to the Ranch Inn in Jackson Hole). Jared and David aren’t just best friends—they’re chosen brothers. Jared now lives in Park City, where he’s a proud dad to twin boys. When he’s not coaching little league, you’ll find him mountain biking, heading to a Phish show, or locked into a Patriots game.

Soraya Garfield

Bridesmaid

Soraya is Moraya’s big sister — and if you’re wondering, yes, things get pretty interesting when their mom tries to call for one of them! With Soraya in junior high when Moraya was born, Moraya got a front-row seat to all the fun and chaos of Soraya’s teenage & young adult years. Soraya always made sure to include her little sister, whether it was hanging out at home, going on adventures, or even tagging along on dates. Later on, they teamed up to run a lingerie business together during Moraya’s college years — from bra parties to wild annual events, it was an adventure they’ll never forget. Soraya now lives in Jakarta, Indonesia with her fiancé, Paul, and his two daughters. She loves to travel, party like a rockstar, and dive into new experiences. Her son, Xander (25), is and always will be the light of her life.

Rob Clancy

Groomsman

Rob Clancy—or “Fancy Clancy,” as David likes to call him—is a day-one brother. These two go way back to college, and their bond only grew stronger in the backcountry. Whether it’s skiing or snowmobiling, they’ve always chased adrenaline together. Rob and Dave have a rare kind of friendship—built on trust, vulnerability, and real love. Rob’s the goofiest guy you’ll ever meet: full of energy, wildly animated, and always bringing the fun. He’s also an incredible dad and a true Italian chef. Seriously—his food is next-level. But take Rob into the backcountry, and that’s where his wild side really shows. Anyone who's been out there with him knows exactly what we mean. We love this emotional, paint-splattered guru.

Baylee Barnes

Bridesmaid

Baylee and Moraya have been partners in crime since sophomore year of high school. They bonded over being the perfect mix of studious and wild — crushing it in school by day and sneaking out for adventures by night. If there was a dance floor, you could bet they were right in the center of it. During senior year, Moraya introduced Baylee to Nick — who would become her high school sweetheart, husband, and the father of their adorable son. Baylee is an incredible dancer and choreographer, earning her first college degree in dance before later shifting gears to become a CPA. She now lives in Bellevue, WA, working at Pokémon in accounting, and raising her two-year-old son, Braydon. Baylee loves the outdoors, camping trips, music festivals, and most of all, her life as a proud momma.

Dan Warren

Groomsman

Dan and David met in true East Coast teenage fashion—through a bit of heckling. After an ordinary day in high school, David and his brother Ben were walking home when Dan, being a classic teenage smartass, yelled something out the car window. David, not one to back down, shouted back and challenged Dan to a fight. Dan actually turned the car around—but instead of throwing punches, they ended up talking. And somehow, that moment kicked off a lifelong friendship. Their bond grew through a shared love for the outdoors, especially hunting. They spent countless early mornings heading to the Connecticut River in search of ducks. And thanks to Dan’s basement, “The Posse” was born—a tight-knit crew of high school friends who still talk weekly (if not daily) to this day. Dan is famously known for “Dan-a-lizing”—his habit of over-engineering everything. He’s wildly smart, endlessly curious, and always thinking about how things work and how to make them better. He lives in Quincy, Massachusetts with his wife Amy and their two beautiful daughters. Dan’s passions include hunting, cooking incredible meals for his family, and salvaging free, roadside treasures to repurpose into something useful—or at least interesting. Last we heard, he was up $10,000. Go Dan!

Alissa Anderson

Bridesmaid

Moraya and Alissa met at a bar. Alissa was drinking away a tough breakup, while Moraya, dressed to impress for a real estate appointment, happened to be grabbing lunch. They struck up an instant connection, bonding over life, yoga, and meditation. Since Alissa wasn't in any shape to drive, Moraya gave her a lift. A car ride that lead to a friendship that grew into a sister-like bond at a pivotal time in both their lives. Shortly after they met, Alissa faced profound loss, losing both her mother and brother within a short period, along with other personal challenges. At the same time, Moraya was making a major move to Kamas from Salt Lake City to be with David. For a while, Alissa and Moraya lived in neighboring towns (Kamas & Heber), leaning on each other through the big transitions. Today, Alissa lives happily in Phoenix, Arizona, near her adult son and family. She's deeply passionate about meditation, working in her free time as a meditation instructor with a specialty in yoga nidra. She's wildly funny, endlessly empathetic, a rock-solid listener, and a proud dog mom to two adorable Yorkies.

Jesse Larson

Groomsman

Jesse is the powerhouse friend—the guy who directs, organizes, and gets things done at scale. No surprise he’s an area manager at Marriott, overseeing multiple properties and making sure operations run like clockwork. He’s sharp, logical, practical... and secretly a little wild. He and Dave go way back to high school, but their brotherhood really locked in during the Spofford Lake days, living the dream at their hippie compound. Bonded by jam bands and a shared love for magic & the miracle of life. David and Jesse have been to several Phish shows together, and according to Jesse, there’s no deeper bonding experience than Phish. Jesse’s a snow-sports lover, now living in Breck, CO with his wife Erika and their two incredible kids. And when we say incredible, we mean it—their kids are brilliant, driven, and seriously cool. Jesse and Erika joke that their kids will rule the world, but honestly? They’re probably right. It runs in the family.

Dailee Eshenroder

Bridesmaid

Dailee and Moraya had a unique start. While Dailee was still in college, Moraya hired her as a sales associate at FREEBIRD by Steven, where Moraya was the General Manager. Instantly struck by Dailee’s fiery personality and unstoppable drive, Moraya quickly took her under her wing. It wasn’t long before Dailee became her favorite employee — known for her tenacious energy, sharp wit, and habit of bringing gourmet treats to work. Over the years, their friendship has deepened into one built on shared passions — trading recipes, diving into new hobbies (like sourdough baking), bonding over their love of animals, and dreaming about future motherhood. Moraya can always count on Dailee to lend a hand with cooking, moving, or tackling the next party planning event. She’s the ultimate sidekick. Recently, Dailee moved back to Park City from her hometown of Houston with her fiancé, Malcom — and Moraya literally jumped for joy at the news. These days, you’ll find Dailee exploring the trails with her dog Sutton or whipping up something delicious in the kitchen. She’s the most organized, detail-oriented person Moraya knows — which makes perfect sense, given her career in Operations Management!

Luke Simms

Groomsman

Luke grew up in a restaurant in Alexandria, LA, learning the ins and outs of the business at his family's restaurant, Robbie G's. In the late '90s, Luke eventually opened the hottest college bar just outside David’s hometown of Natchitoches - The Pinnacle. With David’s lifelong best friend, Randy Jr., bartending for Luke, it didn’t take long for the two to become close. But their real bond was forged in the marsh—those early morning duck hunts were like war for the boys. No distractions. No games. Just grit, mud, and birds. Outside of the blind, though, David and Luke knew how to throw a party. David brought the supplies—food, beer, whatever was needed—and Luke brought the energy. It was a perfect balance. These days, Luke lives in Natchez, LA, working as a superintendent on offshore oil rigs and major onshore projects—launching some of the largest oil pumping stations in the world. He’s sarcastic, charming, and always a good time. He’s married to his beautiful and equally magnetic wife, Brandi, and they have an incredible daughter, Madison. She just graduated from Northwestern State University and is on her way to TCU to become a Doctor of Occupational Therapy. You spend enough time around Luke, you're bound to be laughing.

Randy Jr. LaCaze

Groomsman

Randy Jr. is David's godbrother and lifelong friend. From duck hunting and Mardi Gras parties to countless family gatherings, they’ve experienced it all side-by-side. Their families—Dave Sr. and Anne, along with Randy Sr. and Debbie—were inseparable, sharing endless adventures and exploring the Cane River together. David spent his youth hunting deer alongside Randy Jr. and both their dads, creating memories that have lasted a lifetime. Even today, Randy Jr. would be the first to call if Dave ever needed anything. Randy Jr. currently lives in David’s hometown of Natchitoches on the Cane River with his lovely wife, Haley. He’s the proud father of a beautiful daughter who recently graduated top of her class from Northwestern State University with a degree in elementary education. Professionally, Randy Jr. is a mud engineer in the oil industry. A devoted family man, he’s also a master gardener—following in his mama’s footsteps—and a low-key wine connoisseur.

Gage Dodson

Ring Bearer

Gage is Moraya's younger brother and a passionate enthusiast of all things motors and mechanical engineering. At just 18 years old, he graduated from WyoTech, a premier trade school specializing in automotive technology. Growing up, he spent countless hours racing shifter go-karts and working alongside their dad in his auto mechanic shop, developing his skills and a deep appreciation for automobiles. He has a particular talent and love for souping up old and unique cars. Beyond his mechanical prowess, Gage is incredibly kind-hearted and personable—the type who genuinely listens and takes time to truly connect with others. In his free time, you'll often find him at the racetrack serving as a karting mechanic or enjoying car meets with his friends.

Miley Mackenzie

Flower Girl

Miley is Moraya’s little sister—and one of the strongest young girls we know. After some tough family transitions, Miley officially became Moraya’s sister when she was just five, and Moraya was in her early twenties. Living at home at the time, Moraya got the unexpected gift of helping raise Miley through her elementary school years. That chapter wasn’t easy, but it was filled with love, laughter, and a lot of The Greatest Showman singalongs. Moraya took her big sister role seriously—helping with homework, navigating school drama, and teaching Miley to stay curious and kind. Now a teenager, Miley is kicking off her career in hair styling and coloring, apprenticing under her dad—Moraya’s stepdad—Juan. She’s already showing a natural eye for color and creativity, and we can’t wait to see where it takes her. Miley is a true light: sweet, compassionate, and always ready for an adventure. She’s the kind of kid who makes sure everyone’s included, especially her younger cousins. She loves her dogs, time with her grandma, and planning her next tattoo. Today, we’re so proud to have her as our flower girl.

Xander Cornaby

Flower Girl Escort / Frenchie Wrangler

Xander is Moraya’s only nephew—in fact, the only grandchild in the family, period. He’s Soraya’s “one and only,” as she loves to say. A recent college graduate and a professional snowboarder, Xander attended the Winter Sports School, a public charter in Park City designed for young athletes, while competing in snowboarding all throughout his adolescent years. Moraya had the rare experience of becoming an aunt at just 8 years old—the perfect age for a little girl to want a real-life baby doll. With Soraya working hard as a single mom (and living at home during Xander’s early years), Moraya naturally became the live-in babysitter. They learned a lot together—Moraya got an early taste of motherhood, and Xander grew up looking up to his Auntie. These days, Xander lives in Salt Lake City. He’s always chasing adventure, snowboarding across the map, enjoying a good spliff, and laughing at the little things.

Peta Rose

Flower Girl

Peta Rose is Moraya’s pride and joy—her first daughter and lifelong best friend. She’s affectionately known as the old bitch of the household who takes great pleasure in bossing around all the other animals. Sweet to the core, Peta thrives on attention, and if you're not giving her enough, she'll gently remind you with a paw scratch on the leg. Though she struggles with incontinence—never quite managing to make it through a night without an accident in her kennel—she remains Dave's closest companion. Dave playfully threatens her existence daily, yet he's always the first to lovingly prepare her bed and tuck her in each night. Their relationship is adorably complicated and heartwarming. Peta’s favorite activities include running errands with her mommy, indulging in table scraps at grandma’s house, and orchestrating dinnertime with her bossy attitude. Her back legs are mostly ornamental, just there to keep her upright, so if you see her, she'd certainly appreciate a lift!

Luna & Skye

Flower Girl

Luna and Skye are Moraya's parents' new Frenchie puppies—sisters, snorters, and total queens. Rina and Juan (aka Moraya’s parents) are head over heels for these two. Luna’s the cuddlebug, always ready to shower you with love, while Skye’s the playful one, full of bounce and mischief. They’re wild, lovable, and rambunctious in all the best ways. And they’ve brought a whole new spark to Rina’s retirement—keeping her on her toes and making every day feel young again.
