Groom's Activity: UTV Adventure in the Uinta Mountains

Plan for mountain weather and adventure! We recommend wearing hiking gear with long pants, sturdy shoes, and a waterproof windbreaker. Don’t forget sunglasses and a hat for sun protection.
Get ready for an unforgettable mountain excursion! David will be taking you on a ride through his favorite mountain range, the Uintas. You can expect expansive views, incredible trail systems, reservoirs, and ocean floor fossils. This is a leisure experience designed for families. Enjoyable for all! You'll meet at Uinta Adventures in Kamas to receive a quick safety briefing, sign a liability waiver, & be provided with all the necessary riding gear. Once your checked in, you will have the opportunity to go next door to Kamas Food Town or Subway to purchase lunch. Make sure you bring water to stay hydrated throughout the day. All UTVs are equipped with coolers for your food and drinks. Each vehicle is a 4 seater, so the cost can be split between 2-4 people. IT IS RECOMMENDED TO EAT A HEARTY BREAKFAST BEFORE ANY MOUNTAIN ADVENTURE. Any wedding guest is welcome to join! Cost: Approximately $100–$150 per person, to be paid directly to Uinta Adventures upon arrival.
Bride's Activity: Horseback Riding & Pool Day

Gear up like you're ready to ride into the wild. Pull on your toughest jeans and solid, closed-toe shoes — real riding boots if you have them. A wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses will help you battle the sun, and a waterproof windbreaker is helpful for unexpected storms. Dress to move, ride, and take on whatever the trail throws your way.
Saddle up, friends! We'll meet at Red Pine Adventures in The Canyons at Park City at 9AM, dressed and ready to ride. Make sure you fuel up with a good breakfast beforehand and bring a water bottle — adventure awaits! When we arrive, we’ll meet our guide and horses, sign a quick waiver, and handle payment ($150 per rider). Then it's time to hit the trail for a 1.5-hour horseback adventure through the gorgeous Wasatch Mountains, winding through the golden aspens and soaking in those jaw-dropping autumn views. After our ride, we’ll head back to our beautiful home base at the Grand Hyatt Deer Valley. Think heated pool, epic mountain & reservoir views, and full-on relaxation. Grab lunch poolside, kick back, and soak it all in — you earned it! *Moraya would love if your swimsuit could be one of the shades from her wedding colors: merlot, orange, or blush.* Any wedding guest is welcome to join in on this fun! Cost: $150 per rider

Wedding Ceremony

This is a mountain formal wedding - suits, gowns, & boots welcome. Please dress accordingly and bring layers for warmth. The ceremony will take place on grass, so we suggest that ladies choose footwear with this in mind.
As a reminder, shuttle transportation is highly encouraged for this venue. Please visit the "Travel" tab for more information. Ceremony will commence at 4PM sharp. There will be light refreshments available for enjoyment. Shuttles will be waiting to transport you to reception venue following ceremony.
Cocktail Hour

Grab a drink, take in the view, and let the fun begin. As the fall foliage puts on a show and the mountains stretch out around you, enjoy signature cocktails and tasty bites with a soundtrack spun live by our DJ. It’s the perfect warm-up for the night ahead—easygoing, scenic, and full of good vibes.
Wedding Reception

Let’s eat, toast, and hit the dance floor. Join us for a classic celebration with dinner, heartfelt speeches, and plenty of dancing as the party kicks into full swing. A quick word to the wise: drinking at 9,000 feet hits way different than it does at sea level. Alcohol takes effect faster up here, so be sure to sip smart and drink plenty of water. Your head (and tomorrow morning) will thank you. Shuttles will begin running at 10:00 PM to take guests back to the Grand Hyatt Deer Valley.

After an unforgettable night, let’s keep the good times going — or at least crawl to brunch together. We’ll be gathering at Remington Hall at the Grand Hyatt Deer Valley for a laid-back brunch, swapping stories, reliving dance floor moves, and soaking up the last bit of the Jordanelle views before heading home. We’ll each settle our own checks — just bring your appetite and whatever energy you’ve got left. We can't wait to see you one more time before we take off as husband & wife!
