Steamboat itself does have a small airport, but please keep in mind that coming from sea level direct to Steamboat gives you very little time to adjust to altitude! No matter how many times you've been to altitude, mountain sickness can still affect you and the only remedy is descending to a lower level. Don't let it ruin your weekend!

There are a multitude of options for lodging, including AirBNBs, The Steamboat Grand at the base, and for the more adventurous folks, there are quite a few campgrounds near the Steamboat area!
