The Wedding Website of Jas Baziuk and Simon Makhuli
Our goal for this weekend is to make it as easy as possible for our friends and family to celebrate in this beautiful place with us regardless of where they're coming from. If you need assistance while navigating the options below, advice on where to stay, recommendations on different parts of town, or anything else, please reach out to either of us for help. We've got your back!

Flight

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport

We are beyond excited to have so many guests flying in to celebrate with us from around the world!! You can get into Seattle very easily from SEA airport whether you're picking up a rental car or heading into the city via the Link light rail, rideshare, or bus. Click the link below for all the different options on getting around after landing at what the locals affectionately call SEATAC. If you are staying near Gold Bar and intend to fly out on Sunday after the wedding, please allow ample time to get to the airport for your flight. Traffic on Highway-2 returning to the city on Sunday afternoons can often increase drive time to 3+ hours so plan accordingly!

Hotel

Special Rates in Seattle

We know everyone's needs are going to be a little different for the wedding weekend, so rather than book one specific hotel room block, we have secured some special rates at a range of locations in the city. Feel free to peruse these options using the link below, or find separate accommodations on your own. When booking, please keep in mind the distance of the venue from the city, and consider the below Day-Of Shuttle information. If this is your first time to Seattle, be sure to check out the Local Recommendations page for our neighborhood guide and a map of our favorite spots around town!

Travel Note

Staying Near the Venue

Our venue, Wallace Falls Lodge, is located in Gold Bar, Washington nestled between the small towns of Index and Sultan along the Skykomish River. This area is gorgeous, fairly affordable, and an easy drive from nearby metropolitan areas, which makes it a highly desirable summer destination for city folk on summer weekends. If you're looking to stay nearby, there are plenty of cute Airbnbs in the area as well as a 2-star motel right in Gold Bar, and several campsites available, but book early as options will disappear fast. We've taken the liberty of starting an Airbnb search for you below 😁

Shuttle

Day-Of Shuttle

July 19, 2025 3:00 pm

For those local to the area or staying in the city for the weekend, we'll be providing a shuttle from the parking lot by Goose Beach on Lake Union (a central location in the city of Seattle with plenty of parking nearby). Here's a link to the location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/8XRAoL7duoPrwCzK8 Please note that the venue is an hour's drive away from city-center, therefore there will only be one pickup time, departing the city no later than 3:30pm. There will be two options for returning to Seattle, one bus leaving the venue toward the end of the reception, and one following the afterparty at 12:00am.
