Question

Who do we go to for any questions/issues on the day of the wedding?

Please direct any questions/issues to our wedding planning team (Eclipse Event Co), who will be dressed in all black for the day of the wedding. There will be 3 total and Tessa Johnson is our main wedding planner.

What's the best way to get in contact for questions about the wedding or other logistics prior to wedding?

Can I bring a date or a plus one?

Answer

All guest counts are final, if you did not talk to the bride or groom about bringing a plus one already you cannot bring anyone additional

Venue Rules for Ceremony & Reception?

-No outside alcohol (please do not bring your own alcohol into the venue/ceremony/reception site) -No drugs -No smoking inside or on porches -Please respect the animals on property; can feed them, but don't get too close, don't spook them at night

Yes! Please visit the 'Registry' tab on our website for more details, or www.zola.com/registry/bayleyandgary. Please note that we have little to no storage left in our house for any physical gifts but honeymoon or wedding fund gifts are welcome!

What is the recommended dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire / semi-formal - (It will not be a super formal/fancy ball gown/tuxedo type event, but you're welcome to wear as fancy or not fancy as you feel comfortable with). *Important Notes: The ceremony will most likely be outdoors and reception mostly indoors. Paved concrete, but the cabin and surrounding areas have some grass/gravel/dirt paths. The weather in Texas will most likely be hot or on the warmer side (could get up to high 80s, potentially humid) *Recommended for Women: -Nice Dress, (cocktail, semi-formal, maxi, knee to ankle length, summer dress, etc). -Dressy blouse and fancy skirt/pants will work too! Something light/breathable for outdoor time. -Can bring small cardiagain/light jacket for indoors if you get cold. -Shoes - heels/wedges/flats/sandals/comfy (there are outdoor areas where a stiletto type heel may not be the best choice but you can still wear these since they’ll still work indoors) -Bring swimsuit for wedding afterparty *Recommended for Men: -Dress pants/slacks, Nice button up (short or long sleeve), Suit jacket or full suit optional. -Shoes - dress shoes, Loafers, boots, cowboy boots, chukkas. **No baseball caps (cowboy hats are okay to wear), and no swim trunks at the wedding (but can have these for the later afterparty) -Bring swimsuit for wedding afterparty

Texas weather can vary drastically, but historically for Fredericksburg it has been between a low in the 60s and a high of upper 80’s. Is there lodging onsite at the venue (The Lodge)?

Answer

Yes, however all onsite cabins have already been assigned to friends/family. If anyone needs to cancel their onsite cabin we will release the information to those who have asked about a cabin onsite.

Are there any other hotel blocks available that are not onsite at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Please see the 'Travel' tab and visit the site for 'Inn on Barons Creek'. There is a room block of 20 rooms total, 11 rooms left and it is advised to book ASAP. You can cancel up to 48 hours before checkin.

What if we have to cancel our reservation at the onsite lodges (The Lodge)?

Answer

Your cancelled cottage can only be re-booked by a wedding guest. The Lodge will notify the wedding party but it would be in your best interest to do so as well. There would be a $35 cancelation fee.

How far is the venue from my location?

Answer

From Austin or New Braunfels, around 1.5 hours. From Fort Worth, around 4 hours.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Flyrides (Bus) will be picking up guests at Inn on Barons creek starting at 4 pm, running until around 1 am. We will also have golf carts at the venue for transport to and from the cabins to the ceremony and reception site. You are more than welcome to bring your own golf cart or ATV!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of parking at the venue. You can leave your car overnight at the venue if needed.

I have a food allergy or I am vegan/vegetarian, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, you may let us know. However, we will already have gluten free and vegetarian options for guests for dinner/appetizers/late night snacks.
