Hotel

Vail Marriott Mountain Resort

715 West Lionshead Circle
Vail, Colorado 81657

Short town bus ride or about a 1 mile walk to Sonnenalp (ceremony & reception site). Streets are very pedestrian-friendly. Vail has a unique quality where they have heated streets and sidewalks, so you won't be faced with walking in snow.

Hotel

Tivoli Lodge

In the heart of Vail Village. Great, cozy lodge. I've heard great reviews and it's always in the top choices for Trip Advisor. About a 5 minute walk to ceremony/reception venue.

Hotel

Mountain Haus at The Covered Bridge

Lovely condo-style accommodations. Short walking distance (approximately 7-10 minutes) to ceremony and reception.

Flight

Vail-Eagle Airport (EGE) and Denver International Airport (DEN)

Arriving guests have 2 options to get to Vail. Vail-Eagle airport is the closest, with flights from Delta and United taking off daily. 1-stop flights are usually available from most major airports with connections in Denver. You can also fly into Denver International Airport (DEN). Vail is about a 2 hour trip from the airport. Best options are renting a car or there are also shuttle companies that will transport you to Vail. Here are 2 options for easy reference: https://www.epicmountainexpress.com/ & https://www.mountainshuttle.com/ Both shuttle companies typically will do pick-ups and drop-offs at both airports.

Shuttle

Vail Village Transportation

November 3, 2019 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Please familiarize yourself with the Vail Shuttle Bus Schedule. Vail Village and Lionshead Village have shuttles that run all day long and allow you the ease of a free bus service to get you from one point to the other. Since this is their shoulder season, please allow for extra time, as they do not run as often as ski season. https://www.vailgov.com/bus-schedules

Train

It's the Mountains... don't be silly.

House Or Rental

AirBNB, Home Away, or VRBO are your best bets

If you're traveling with a group of friends or family, Vail does boast some pretty fancy homes that would make for great accommodations. Check out these sites if you think you'd like to go that route. Keep in mind that Uber and Lyft can be dicey during off-season, so you may need to rely on buses and rental cars to get you around. Make sure your home is on a bus route and that it runs on off-season, if you're opting to go the airport shuttle route.
