We are thrilled to have you in CA <3 Remember to pack layers — coastal weather changes fast and evenings get chilly. Cell service is spotty; download directions and make plans ahead of leaving the Marin area. Tips: Highway 1 adds time but is gorgeous; plan for slower travel and plenty of stops. If you want reservations for oysters or sit-down lunch, book ahead (Hog Island is the one to watch).

(20 minutes south) Similar dramatic coastal landscape but without houses — fantastic for open coastline walks. Vehicle day-use fees apply (state parks adjust fees, so check the current day-use fee on the California State Parks site before you go).

Closest coffee/pastry spot to the south, great for breakfast pastries and sandwiches.

Sea Ranch Costal Walking Trail

The best thing here. The coastal walking path runs for miles along the bluff and can be accessed from many points up and down the coastline — perfect for short strolls or longer wanderings depending on how much time you have.

The Sea Ranch Lodge

The Lodge has a cafe with coffee, matcha, and grab and go snacks/food. The restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch. This is the highest end food in the area. The wedding dinner will be here!

The Hot Spot- Redwoods Hike in Sea Ranch

Located on the east side of Highway 1 along the Gualala River among redwoods. It’s a short, easy loop that’s perfect seeing a different (wooded) side of the coast. Parking is just on the side of the road at the address above.
