Yes!! Please visit the events page for details on Sunday Night BBQ and breweries, Monday night after party, and Tuesday afternoon brunch
You are all free to do whatever your heart desires all weekend long! Check out our "Things To Do" page for lots of suggestions and be sure to let us know what you're up to so we can hang with you too!!!
The bride is wearing a white dress and the groom is wearing a suit and the ceremony is taking place on a dirt floor. So no need to break out the ballgowns or tuxedos, but still party-ready. Don't worry if you'd rather not don your fancy footwear for the ceremony, and be sure to bring some hiking boots or sneakers if you plan to hike Black Balsam Knob with us after the ceremony!
Not officially. The night before the wedding, Joshua and Alex will be at Buxton Hall BBQ from 5-7pm to eat and hang with anyone who is interested in coming. Very down-to-earth vibe, amazing food, and one of our favorite places to go on a date. They don't take reservations so we recommend getting there on the earlier side to avoid a potential wait-list, but they seat everyone at big family-style picnic tables (inside) so it's still suitable for larger groups. If you have other plans for Sunday dinner, feel free to meet up with us afterwards! We're going to head next door to Catawba Brewing Co. and just see where the evening takes us. There are at least a dozen bars and breweries in the immediate vicinity so we may or may not hop around--just give us a text to find out where the group is. Won't be a super crazy or late night, just a little fun before the big day! Hope to see you there!
