Sunday Night BBQ

5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Join us for our last "dating" date! We will be at Buxton Hall from 5:30-7pm eating and mingling with anyone who wants to enjoy some great BBQ with us! This place is known for their whole-hog barbecue menu and has the most killer fried chicken sandwich maybe ever. No reservations accepted, so just come when you can! If you want to hang around afterwards, just make your way on over next door to Catawba Brewing Co and let the good times roll! While you're there, be sure to check out the pollinator gardens planted along Banks Ave.--that would be the handiwork of yours truly, Joshua and Alex!

Wedding in the Woods

Garden or Cocktail Attire (with sensible footwear!)

We humbly invite all of you, our closest family and friends, to bear witness as we become husband and wife. Our ceremony will take place in the pine forest across from the Black Balsam Knob Trailhead. We strongly advise that you arrange to carpool and join the caravan departing from Crowne Plaza at 1pm. Sensible shoes are also recommended as the ground is soft and potentially muddy. The bride and groom will be wearing hiking boots to the ceremony and changing into their fancy footwear for the reception. Please also note that it is typically about 10° cooler where we will be headed than it is in Asheville. Alex will ensure that everyone has printed driving instructions as well as a detailed note about "what to know before you go." Feel free to reach out with any questions ahead of time!
