Why Kiawah?
Long before Kiawah became the destination it is today, Avery’s parents discovered their little slice of heaven in 2000. They knew quickly it was somewhere they wanted Avery and Aidan to grow up. And they did. For nearly three decades, the island has been there for summers and holidays, traditions, lifelong friendships, and more memories than they could ever count. Kiawah and the Wallace family have simply always gone hand in hand.
Since she was a little girl, Avery always said she would get married on the island, so there was never much question that one day, this celebration would happen here.
Over the years, Avery and Bobby have made countless Kiawah memories of their own and shared them with so many of the people they love most, making it even more meaningful to bring everyone together here.
We can’t wait to welcome (and welcome back!) you all to a place that has meant so much to us for so long, and to add one of life’s biggest memories to a place already filled with so many.
