Wedding Party

Rebecca Wambheim

Matron of Honor

Becky is the bride’s sister, and her older, wiser “twin.” A constant source of love, support, and very patient FaceTime participation, she’s worn countless hats over the years (many of them cute baseball caps). From dance coach to personal stylist to roommate and everything in between, she’s been the very best big sister Rachel could ask for. Having her by her side means everything!

Katie Miller

Bridesmaid

Katie is the bride’s college “frenemy” turned lifelong travel buddy and best friend. They’ve perfected the art of long-distance friendship, never missing a chance to hop on a flight to Austin, Seattle, or now Chicago. She’s endlessly supportive (she hardly even laughed when Rachel ran into a glass door) and always brings the banter. From college antics to wedding day magic, Rachel is lucky to have Katie by her side.

Taylore Flynn

Bridesmaid

Taylore is the perfect blend of cousin and lifelong friend. When they overlapped in Austin for three years, their bond grew through frequent movie nights, pool days, and shopping trips along South Congress. Rachel now loves visiting her “framily” in New York and cherishes any time they get to spend together. She is so excited to have Taylore standing by her side on such a special day.

Tyler Schaub

Groomsman

Tyler is Austin’s older brother and, growing up, was always quick to lend a hand - whether beating a level on Gameboy (even if it meant handing Austin an unplugged controller and convincing him he was playing) or navigating an international move. By junior high, while Austin was out playing sports or learning magic tricks, Tyler had become the bookworm: a calm, steady presence with all the answers. That continued through the University of Iowa, where Tyler was a senior during Austin’s freshman year. Austin is so glad to have that steady presence by his side on such a special day.

Andrew Malley

Groomsman

Andrew and Austin have been friends since high school and were college roommates. Even after graduation, they kept their friendship strong across the map. Austin made regular trips to Arizona for golf, pool parties, holiday gatherings, and even Andrew’s wedding, while Andrew returned the favor with Texas visits full of music festivals, BBQ feasts, and, of course, “Austin in Austin.” Nearly 10 years later, both landed in Chicago around the same time, rekindling their friendship after years apart. Austin is thrilled to have Andrew standing by his side for his wedding in Italy.

Luke Wildeboer

Groomsman

Luke and Austin have been friends since high school and were college roommates. A year after graduation, Austin convinced Luke to move south and join him in Texas, where they shared an apartment for years They “kept it weird in Austin” while growing their friendship and themselves. Their cohabitation lasted until Luke met his fiancée (and much better roommate) Maddy. Even after living in separate cities for the first time in 15 years (Luke in D.C., Austin in Chicago) their friendship has stayed strong. Austin is grateful his friend could travel to join in the celebration.

Brad Rudolph

Officiant

Brad is the bride’s brother and lifelong source of fun. Growing up with sisters, he somehow made it work. He'd pay Rachel in pocket change (not nearly enough) for “just a few minutes” of Little Tikes basketball, only to secretly stop the timer. He still brings laughs, energy, and heart everywhere he goes, making him the perfect choice to officiate Rachel and Austin’s big day.
