What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal attire with a summer elevated feel — elegant, light, and seasonally inspired. We’re leaning into refined colors, breathable fabrics, and polished silhouettes that photograph beautifully in natural light. Please avoid dark colors to keep the palette cohesive and bright. WOMEN Think soft, romantic, elevated summer — flowy dresses, silky fabrics, and fresh, airy tones. Colors: Pastels (blush, peach, sky blue, lilac, butter yellow), soft neutrals, light florals, watercolor prints. Fabrics: Silk, chiffon, satin, organza, light crepe. Silhouettes: Maxi or midi dresses, bias-cut slips, flowy or draped gowns, one-shoulder or halter, ruffles or tiers. Please Avoid: Black, navy, jewel tones, heavy fabrics, or anything too casual. Shoes: Dressy sandals or heels that work on stone + indoor floors. MEN Classic, polished, breathable — think coastal formal with an elevated twist. Colors: Light beige, tan, sand, sage, soft olive, muted greens, sky or French blue, light grey, cream. (No black, charcoal, or deep navy.) Outfits: Light suits (linen or lightweight wool), sport coat + dress pants, unstructured blazers, linen or cotton button-downs, loafers or dress shoes. Shirts: White, light blue, soft greens, pastels, subtle tonal patterns. Tie: Optional — polished but not stuffy. Please Avoid: Dark suits, heavy fabrics, casual shoes, and shorts.

Can I bring a plus-one?

We are so grateful to celebrate with the people who have been part of our story. To keep the day intimate and intentional, our guest list is set. If your invitation includes a plus-one, their name will be listed there — and we can’t wait to celebrate with both of you.

Are children invited?

We adore your little ones, but we want this to be a night where our guests can be fully present, relaxed, and able to enjoy the celebration without any responsibilities. With that in mind, we are keeping the evening adults-only.

What time should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive 20–30 minutes before the ceremony to allow time to park, find your seat, and settle into the moment.

Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes. Both will be held at Agape 1928 in San Clemente, allowing the evening to unfold seamlessly in one place.

What are the parking options?

Answer

Limited parking is available nearby, but we encourage guests to use rideshare for a smoother experience. It’s the easiest way to arrive — and leave — without worry, so you can simply enjoy the night with us.

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony is planned outdoors for late afternoon, with a reception that moves between indoor and outdoor spaces.

What weather should we expect?

Mid-September in coastal Southern California is typically warm with a gentle evening breeze. A light layer is recommended once the sun sets.

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony, and we truly want everyone to just be present with us in that moment. We’ve hired an incredible photography team whose vision we completely trust, and we want to give them the space to capture everything beautifully. If they gently ask you to lower a phone or shift for a shot, please help them out — it means the world to us. Once we make our exit down the aisle, feel free to take photos! And for the rest of the evening, we highly encourage it. We’ll be sharing a link to a shared album so we can see the night through your eyes, too.

Please note any dietary needs when submitting your RSVP so we can work with the chef to ensure you can enjoy your meal as much as everyone else.

We’ve listed our recommended hotels in the Travel section. For the most seamless weekend experience, we suggest booking at Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa, where we’ll be staying and hosting our welcome party. We’d love to have friends and family nearby throughout the weekend! All listed hotels are a short drive from the venue.
