Is there parking at the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club if I want to drive to the event?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of parking on site at the yacht club. Please notify the front gate that you are attending the Ansell/Nero wedding at arrival.

Can ride-shares like Uber and Lyft get to Grosse Pointe Shores?

Answer

Yes! Your destination will be Grosse Pointe Yacht Club. Please note that rides to and from Grosse Pointe Shores may take 10 to 20 minutes to arrive, so we recommend planning transportation accordingly.

What is the dress code for the wedding ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to dress in cocktail attire for the ceremony. Midi or maxi dresses and suits or sport coats with dress pants are perfect options. Wear what makes you feel confident and comfortable. Please note that jeans or denim are not permitted by the club.

Do you have a hotel block for guests to get a discount on rooms?

How close is the Welcome Party to the hotel?

Answer

The Yard at Corktown is a 15 minute walk down Michigan Ave from The Westin, or you can take an Uber/Lyft which would be less than 5 minutes.

Is there parking at the Welcome Party?

The Yard at Corktown has street parking around it, which you pay for using the ParkDetroit app. There are also some parking garages and lots nearby.

Are children invited to these events?

Answer

We adore your little ones, but our celebration will be adults only, with the exception of Kelly and Tommy's nieces and nephews.

If a guest is included, it will be noted on your invitation and confirmed during the RSVP process.
