Our wedding will take place at the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club, a beautiful waterfront venue along Lake St. Clair, located less than a mile from our home. Founded in 1914, the club is known for its classic architecture, rich history, and scenic views of the lake. We cannot wait for you to experience the charm of this special place with us. With its gorgeous setting on the water, it will be the perfect backdrop for celebrating our day together.

For those who’d like to kick off the weekend early, please join us for a hosted bar at The Yard. Seating will be in a private area with sheltered outdoor space. This is one of our favorite neighborhood spots, with plenty of games and activities to enjoy. Transportation will not be provided for this event. Street parking is available, and there are several nearby parking lots.

Attire: Cocktail. We’d love to see your best midi or maxi dresses, or suits with jackets and slacks. Think elegant but nothing too fancy. Whatever makes you feel confident & comfortable!

The ceremony will be held outdoors on the grounds of the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club overlooking Lake St. Clair, weather permitting, so please keep footwear in mind, especially heels. Please note the club does not allow denim of any kind.

Cocktail Hour & Reception

6:00 pm - 11:30 pm

Weather permitting, cocktail hour will be held outdoors immediately after the ceremony. The reception will follow in the ballroom, located just steps inside the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club.
