Flight

Haneda or Narita Airports

The two main airports to consider are Haneda (HND) and Narita (NRT). Haneda is closer to Kamakura, so it’s the more convenient option if you plan to stay near the ceremony. Narita is a bit farther, but it can be more convenient if you want to stay in central Tokyo (for those preferring Hilton/Hyatt hotels).

JAPAN IS A CASH COUNTRY

Over 90% of consumers use cash as their preferred payment method. While some of the larger establishments, like hotels and department stores, may accept credit cards, most do not. Japan does not accept U.S. Dollars. You must convert currency over to Yen.
