Adventure Awaits!

We know, getting married in West Texas is a trek for everyone. But every time we pictured our wedding day, we knew it had to be out there. We wanted to share this special place with our favorite people! We thank you endlessly for making travel plans to come all this way! Our first trip together as a couple was going to Big Bend National Park, which is just about an hour from Marathon. Prior to meeting Andrew, I (Tavia) had always wanted to explore BBNP and never got the chance. So when we first started dating and Andrew shared with me how many times he had gone before, I was so excited to have my very own personal travel guide for my first trip! The trip was beyond wonderful and sparked our mutual love for the park, long road trips, and the captivating adventures West Texas offers! West Texas is home to many unique small towns, one of them being Marathon. With one main street, a laid-back atmosphere, friendly locals, and the most beautiful starlit night skies- for us, this town is the ultimate "off the grid" getaway. On our second adventure out west, we stayed at Eve's Garden Bed & Breakfast. This quaint BNB is hard to miss. As soon as you set your gaze on the property, your eyes meet shades of blue, red, orange, purple, and yellow. Just outside of the rooms is a luscious greenhouse. Walking through the greenhouse leads to a backyard (perfect for stargazing) and a charming indoor pool. This place has such a simple, relaxing, and fun energy about it that brought us so much joy...we didn't want to leave! Fast forward to us being engaged! We knew we wanted to be very intentional about where we were going to get married and who we wanted to share it with. We inquired with Eve's Garden about possibly having our wedding there and to our surprise they said of course!!

We know getting to Marathon will be an adventure in itself. But what we really want out of this weekend is the adventure of getting everyone out of their comfort zone traveling to a place they never thought they would go! Our vision for all of us is to simply unplug from our routine lives, spend much needed time together, make memories to last a lifetime, and document it all with lots of photos of course! Let's eat, drink, and stargaze in the most laid-back little West Texas town.. Oh yeah, and witness us get very sappy promising to spend the rest of our lives together!
