Ceremony

The ceremony will be in the Rectory's garden courtyard. In case of rain, the ceremony will take place in the Rectory's atrium.
Parking is very limited in Old Town Alexandria, where the ceremony is located. We recommend taking public transportation (it is close to the King Street Metro station, with buses that can take you from the metro to the venue if you prefer not to walk 15 - 20 minutes), a taxi or rideshare service. We are reserving a shuttle for transportation as well; please check back later for more details about the location and timing.
Cocktail Hour & Reception

The reception is an industrial event space, with a casual vibe.
Cocktail Hour with light refreshments and open bar: 5:30pm - 6:30pm Dinner and open bar: 6:30pm - 7:30pm Open bar: 5:30 - 10:00pm There is ample free parking available at the reception venue, however it is also a literal 5-minute walk from the Van Dorn metro station, and we will be providing shuttles from the Rectory to the Garden Alexandria between 5:00pm - 6:30 pm. **IMPORTANT** There is a beer garden/restaurant ALSO CALLED "The Garden" and located in Alexandria, VA (Mount Vernon Avenue) - that is NOT the reception venue. The cocktail hour and reception will take place at The Garden Alexandria located on Eisenhower avenue. Note: The reception will include several indoor spaces and an outdoor patio area. Weather-permitting, the doors to the patio will remain open. Please let us know if you have any health concerns and we will do our best to accommodate.
