We will provide a shuttle to pick up guests at *THE RECEPTION* venue (The Garden: 5380 Eisenhower Ave Suite C, Alexandria, VA 22304) and drive them to the ceremony location. The shuttle will then drive guests from the ceremony to the reception venue for cocktail hour and dinner. Parking in Old Town Alexandria can be limited or require payment, however there is ample free parking at the reception venue. The reception venue is also just a five minute walk from the Van Dorn metro station. There will not be shuttle service after the reception, but let us know ahead of time if you would like help arranging a taxi or ride share service.

Like all great modern romances, they met on Tinder. Meredith was drawn to the photos of Andrew holding adorable animals (a baby squirrel and three chihuahuas). Meredith forgot to save her bio correctly on her profile, but luckily Andrew was drawn to her smile and her cats, Ianto and Andromeda. Their first two dates consisted of arcade games (Penn Social, then Dave & Busters), and this love of gaming would continue throughout their relationship, from D&D campaigns to surviving zombie apocalypses. Eight years later, after multiple challenges (from health issues to a global pandemic), major transitions (both changed careers at least once), and plenty of good times (mostly consisting of games and cat cuddles), they're excited to (finally!) say "I do."

We are grateful that so many of our friends and family members are planning to join us to celebrate! However, we hope that you will prioritize your health and the safety of other guests by staying home if you feel unwell, test positive for Covid, or if you are concerned about attending a large event (we are anticipating 70 - 80 guests). Our ceremony and reception set-up are flexible, so please don't worry if you need to cancel your RSVP. We support those who wish to wear a mask during any or all of the celebrations. For awareness: we are planning to have our ceremony outdoors, but our rain-plan would take place inside the building. Similarly, our reception venue will have open doors to the outside patio, unless severe weather prevents us from doing so
