The wedding ceremony and reception will take place in Glen Artney 66, a pavilion in Patapsco Valley State Park. The entrance of that section of Patapsco Valley State Park is in Halethorpe, Maryland, about 15 minutes from Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI). We have a "Longstreth/Patterson Wedding" block of hotel rooms at the BWI Airport Marriott. This hotel is convenient to both BWI and Patapsco Valley State Park and rooms are first come, first serve so we recommend booking sooner rather than later. Don't worry if the BWI Airport Marriott doesn't suit your needs; there are over 20 other hotels within a mile of the Marriott. Of course, you can also choose to stay in Baltimore if you want to be closer to the city's action. Columbia is also close by. There aren't very many AirBnBs/rental homes in the area, but there are a few B&Bs, including the 1840s Carrollton Inn and the Wayside Inn.

Parking is limited at Patapsco Valley State Park, especially near Glen Artney 66, so we will ask most of you who drive to either park at the BWI Airport Marriott or park at Avalon 105. If we haven’t let you know ahead of time that you can park at Glen Artney 66 and you don’t want to park at the Mariott (which is free), please park in the Avalon parking lot in Patapsco Valley State Park. A shuttle will pick guests up at the hotel, bring them to Glen Artney 66, then drive the five minutes to Avalon 105 to pick up the guests who are driving directly to the park. The shuttle will transport guests back to the Avalon parking lot and the BWI Airport Marriott at the end of the day.
