Casual to Cocktail

We'll be hanging out at The Bluebird Cocktail Room on Friday from 6-9 pm - drop by and have a drink with us! We'll have the bar put out some bottles of wine to share - these are on us, help yourself! They also have a full service bar that specializes in literary-themed cocktails and great snacks if you're in the mood for something else. A few notes: - This is something of an *unofficial* event, so if you have any questions about the venue or our plans, please contact us instead of Bluebird - thanks! - The Bluebird room is on the top floor - there are quite a few stairs and no elevator. Amy, who broke her leg on Brian's stairs a couple years ago, advises care when taking the stairs so you can dance all night with us the next day! - There are two other bars in the same building, including the Green Room on the first floor and The Pub downstairs. When in doubt, keep walking upstairs. - The Bluebird room is 21+ (no kiddos or babies)

We're so excited to celebrate with you! Please arrive at True Chesapeake at 5:00pm. We ask that you arrive no later than 5:30pm. If you cannot arrive before 5:30pm, we ask that you wait to arrive until 6:00pm as the bride and groom will be doing their grand entrance between 5:30 and 6:00pm. Goodbye Hugs, Bagels + Bubbles

Gailan, a food-enthusiast and Brian's college best friend, catered our engagement party in December 2022. He and his wife Kristina have graciously offered to host our very casual Sunday brunch and goodbyes. At a minimum, Amy and Brian will provide a bagel bar and mimosas. It's likely that Gailan will offer up other fun snacks as well. Weather-permitting, we will be hanging out in the back yard so plan accordingly.
