Instead of a traditional registry, we have a cash fund set up that we plan to steward in a few different directions.
We will use half of this fund for projects around our new house and to set aside for a future honeymoon trip for next summer.
We will donate the other half to two community organizations in Kansas City: Advocates for Immigrant Rights and Reconciliation (AIRR) and the Heartland Center for Jobs and Freedom, which is housed in the same building as our wedding venue.
