travel & lodging

The Wedding Website of Allison Dikanovic and Bob Sykora
We have room blocks at two hotels near the venue. We are considering adding a third, so if that'd be helpful to you, please let us know. If you want to do your own thing, we’d recommend staying somewhere along the KC Streetcar line. The streetcar is free to ride and can get you to a lot of sweet spots while visiting KC. All of our wedding-related events are within walking distance of streetcar stops, too. (More on that in the odds & ends section.) Allison also pulled together some Airbnb listings in locations we’d vouch for (near the venue/streetcar) if you’re interested in coordinating any group lodging.

House Or Rental

Allison's Airbnb Recs

While we can't necessarily vouch for each specific home listed here, we can say that they are all located in ideal spots for the weekend, close to both the venue and the streetcar line.

Train

KC Streetcar

The KC Streetcar is free and an easy way to get to a lot of fun spots for visitors. Both of our hotels and all wedding events are in walking distance of streetcar stops. You can get directions for how to take the streetcar to wherever you're going by selecting the public transit option in Google Maps.

Flight

Kansas City International Airport

Kansas City's airport is small but really nice. The new terminal is only a couple years old. It's worth noting that the airport is a ways north of downtown and where the wedding festivities will be (about a half hour away from the venue), so we wouldn't necessarily recommend booking a place to stay near the airport. Kansas City unfortunately doesn't have a rapid transit option from the airport into downtown, so if you're flying in and not renting a car, you'll need to call an Uber or Lyft. They're easily available!
