Shuttle and Transportation

Guests can drive to the venue and leave a car over night in the clubhouse parking lot, but all cars must be picked up by 10:00 am the following day (Sunday). We will have a shuttle pick up guests at three (3) locations around Blowing Rock to transport guests to the venue: (1) the Blowing Rock Manor (across the street from the Chetola Resort entrance); (2) in front of Blowing Rock Elementary (one block of central Main Street); and (3) the Holiday Inn Express. The shuttle will take two "loops" and will leave for the ceremony from each location at the below times. If you plan to take the shuttle to the ceremony, please use your best effort to catch the earlier shuttle to ensure all guests have a seat! (1) The Blowing Rock Manor: 3:00 p.m. + 3:40 p.m. (2) Blowing Rock Elementary: 3:10 p.m. + 3:50 p.m. (3) The Holiday Inn Express: 3:20 p.m. + 4:00 p.m. We will also have a shuttle running on a loop after the reception to transport guests from the venue to the Manor Blowing Rock, central Main St., and the Holiday Inn Express. The shuttle will take several trips beginning after dinner through the end of the reception. The final shuttle will depart the reception around 10:00 p.m., after the couple's send off.

Flight

Charlotte International Airport

If you are flying into NC to attend the wedding, the closet airport to Blowing Rock is Charlotte Douglas International Airport (1 hour, 40 minute drive). Asheville Regional Airport is the next closest (1 hour, 55 minute drive), followed by Raleigh-Durham International Airport (3 hour drive).

Holiday Inn Express Blowing Rock South

Room Block: Wedding guests can obtain the $189 group rate at the Holiday Inn Express located at 8412 Valley Blvd by calling the reservation department at (828) 295-4422 and mentioning the Munn/Harris Wedding. Please note that the special group rate will be available until March 25th, 2025 or until the room blocks sells out. The Holiday Inn is 0.9 miles from central Main Street and 1.4 miles friom the venue. **NOTE: There is another Holiday Inn Express located in nearby Boone. Uber Availability

Uber and Lyft are available in the area, but they can be unreliable. If you are not staying local to Main Street, we suggest arranging a private transportation company (ex. High Country Black Car & Limo Service or Air Haven Limo) if you plan to imbibe at the reception. Parking At Venue

There is sufficient parking for guests at the venue. If guests choose to drive to the venue but use the shuttle service after the reception, cars can be left overnight at the venue but must be retrieved by 10:00 a.m. the following day (Sunday).
