Welcome Party

8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

This event is dressy casual. Think a step up from jeans, and a step down from cocktail attire (slacks and button downs without ties for men; casual dresses or nice pants and a blouse for women with whatever footwear is most comfortable for you).

There will be post-dinner light bites, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options. Should you get to town on Friday, please drop in at any point to join us. The event will be indoors, and the museum is located just off Main Street. Ceremony

4:30 pm - 5:15 pm

This event is cocktail attire (suits and ties for men, knee length, midi, or maxi dresses for ladies).

Weather permitting, our ceremony will be outside on the grass in front of the clubhouse, and we recommend thicker heels for those wanting to wear them. Please arrive between 4:00 pm and 4:15 pm for the ceremony, which will begin at 4:30 pm. If you choose to drive to the venue, there is a parking lot by the clubhouse entrance. Transportation will be provided from three locations in Blowing Rock to the ceremony site. See the "Travel" page on this site for additional transportation details, including pickup times at various locations. Additionally, shuttles will run back-and-forth from the reception to Main Street Blowing Rock after dinner service concludes.
