Question

When and where will the events of the weekend take place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held on August 23, 2025, at Camp Hale, located at 7088 US-24, Red Cliff, CO. In addition, we’ll be hosting a welcome drinks event at Vail Brewing Co. in Vail Village on the evening of August 22, 2025, from 7–10 PM. Take a look at the Schedule tab for more details.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

We recommend staying in Vail Village, as many of the wedding events (aside from the ceremony and reception) will take place there. We’ll also have shuttle buses transporting guests between Vail Village (from Vail Transit Center) and Camp Hale. If you choose to stay outside of Vail Village or Lionshead, we strongly suggest renting a car to make getting around easier. For more details on hotel and Airbnb options, as well as transportation information, please refer to the Travel tab.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors on the ceremony island, followed by a reception in a large tent nearby. It’s likely to be warm during the ceremony, but the temperature will cool down significantly in the evening (consider bringing an extra layer!). Don’t worry though—the tent is heated to keep everyone comfortable. To ensure your comfort and ease, we kindly suggest avoiding stiletto heels.

Question

How will transportation work to and from the venue?

Answer

The venue is about 30 minutes from Vail Village. On the wedding day (August 23, 2025), we’ll provide shuttles running between Vail Transit Center in Vail Village and the venue. Therefore, we strongly recommend staying in Vail Village or Lionshead, where most of our events will take place. Please check the Travel tab for accommodation options. If you prefer to drive, the venue also offers parking for your convenience. SHUTTLE TIMING: Shuttles to the venue will be available for boarding at the Vail Transportation Center (241 S Frontage Rd E, Vail, CO 81657) at 2:45pm and will be departing for the venue at 3:15pm. Shuttles back to Vail will begin running at 9pm, with the final shuttle departing around 10:35pm.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding event?

Answer

Summer Cocktail Attire Colors: Light, pastel, and bright summery shades are preferred, but wear what's comfortable! Suggestions: - A suit, a long or midi dress, or a jumpsuit. - Tie optional. Feel free to add a tie or bow tie if you’d like. - Dress shoes, loafers, block heels, wedges, or dressy flats. Please avoid sneakers or stiletto heels. Inspo: https://pin.it/5AvRP17hc

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If you and "and guest" are listed on the invite, we would be delighted to accommodate. However, due to capacity constraints, we may not be able to extend invitations beyond those specified.

Question

Are children welcome at the wedding?

Answer

We’ve chosen to keep the celebration adults-only to create an intimate atmosphere. We will only be including children who are part of the ceremony and babies who are still nursing at our wedding. We appreciate your understanding! If you have any special circumstances, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

Question

I have a food allergy or dietary restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please include any allergies or dietary restrictions on your RSVP form or reach out to Roz or Alex. All events will have vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, but please let us know your preferences in advance.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 1, 2025 so we can finalize our plans.

Question

How do I get to Vail from Denver?

Answer

The Denver International Airport is approximately 116 miles from Vail, which is about a 2 to 2.5-hour drive. There are a couple of transportation options to get from the airport to Vail: 1) Rent a Car – For more details, please visit the Travel tab. 2) Airport Shuttle – For shuttle options, check out the Travel tab for more info. Once you're in Vail, a rental car is not necessary. The town has a convenient and extensive public bus system that can take you to trailheads, attractions, and other key spots. In fact, many trailheads are only accessible via the bus system. Additionally, we will be providing shuttles for guests traveling between Vail Village and the wedding venue at Camp Hale.

Question

What should I pack and be aware of before attending the wedding in Colorado?

Answer

Colorado is known for its dry climate, and with our venue at a high altitude, it's important to prepare accordingly. We recommend packing lotion and other items that will help keep you comfortable in the dry air. If you’re sensitive to altitude, be sure to consult your doctor and bring any necessary medication before traveling. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out!

Question

What are some fun things to do in the Vail area?

Answer

(1) Hike! The Vail area offers numerous beautiful hiking trails. You don't need a car to access many of them—public buses can take you to some of the best spots. We’ll share a link to some great hikes soon! (2) Hang in Vail! Stop by a local coffee shop, grab lunch at a cute spot, try a brewery, or enjoy some shopping. (3) Take a Scenic Gondola Ride! The gondola offers stunning views of the mountains. (4) Relax and Rejuvenate! If you’re looking to unwind, treat yourself to a spa or wellness activity. If you’re staying at Gravity Haus, don’t miss the beautiful gym, sauna, and cold plunge for some extra relaxation.
