AMR Tours and Excursions:
Guests can book tours & excursions through AMR at an additional cost. Some of our favorite excursions include: • Visit to the Arenal Volcano • Horsebacking riding • Zip-lining through the rainforest • Tubing the rapids of Rio Negro • ATV tours through the mountain side • A relaxing dip in the hot springs • Exploring the rainforests via hanging bridges • Water slides through the rainforest • Visit an animal sanctuary • River Safari • Waterfall hikes and much more! Prices will range based on the excursion booked and certain tours are only available on specific days. If there is an excursion you are excited about, make sure your stay overlaps with one of the days of the excursion and does not interfere with any wedding festivities! Most of AMR's tours are all day and action packed. If you are looking for more half-day options, we suggest looking into the next few local excursion companies. There will also be excursion vendors set-up at the resort if you want to wait to book.
Julio's Happy Tour
Julio's Happy Tours is highly regarded among Costa Rica travelers. He offers a variety of excursions around the area. Once you click on the link, you will get more detailed information about the excursion, such as: pricing, what is included in the excursion (such as food and activities), recommendations for what to pack or wear, the days of the week the excursion is typically ran, what to expect during your excursion, transfer information, age requirements, physical activity level, and other helpful information. We recommend that you bring cash to tip & purchase. Please note that some excursions are half-day while others are action packed into a full day. If you see an excursion you are excited about, please consider your travel dates to ensure the excursion does not overlap with any wedding festivities and that you have plenty of time to do all that you would like on your vacation! The Bride & Groom, as well as their immediate family members, plan to stay 7 days to have plenty of time to do various excursions.
