As you might imagine this information changes often. We will do our best to keep this FAQ current. At this time most venues in Nashville are no longer requiring evidence of full vaccination or negative COVID test within 48 hours. Most tourist venues are following CDC guideline and are recommending wearing a mask (usually provided free at the door) when indoors in large crowds, but are not requiring them.
Private bus transportation will be provided from several hotels downtown Nashville (45 minutes) and Franklin (25 minutes), both to and from the venue. If you already know you plan to attend (yay!!) and intend on taking the bus, please go to the TRAVEL page. Under 'sign up for the bus' click the VIEW button for more information and to reserve a seat. Not sure yet? That is okay! Come back to the travel page any time until July 6, 2022. This is NOT a looping shuttle service. The round trip to the venue is approximately 90 minutes so there will be only time for ONE bus departure from the selected hotels. You MUST have a reservation and you MUST NOT be late. We apologize, we know this is not very convenient or flexible but distance has restricted our options. We need to provide a final passenger count to our transportation service and, based on that, they select the bus size. Therefore there will not be capacity to add guests who have not reserved a space. Unless you know you have other transportation we suggest you reserve a spot one or both ways.
Ride share services are readily available at the BNA airport and downtown. If you are staying in one of the downtown hotels and plan to take the wedding shuttle, Uber might be all you need. But, THIS IS IMPORTANT, while you may be able to find a somewhat expensive Uber ride from Franklin or Downtown TO the wedding, we have confirmed Uber FROM the wedding in Nolensville will be pretty much non-existent. You will not be able to get Uber or Lyft service out of the wedding venue. You must have your own car, car pool, or take the shuttle (preferred) to get back to your hotel after the wedding.
Short answer? It is fun! We have friends and family spread out all over the US (and world!), so almost everybody was going to have to travel no matter where we picked. We decided on a place that we loved visiting and has plenty of things to do for those of you who decide to stay for a long weekend.
Hopefully... perfect! During the day in late August, the weather in Nashville should be sunny, averaging 85 degrees, but will be an average of 65 degrees night.
The ceremony will be held in an open air chapel with a lovely breeze. The reception is indoors and air conditioned.
Cocktail Attire. For men, this means a suit and tie. For ladies, this means a nice evening cocktail dress (knee-length, tea-length, or floor length).
Please respond no later than July 1, 2022. The formal invitations will have the option to return a RSVP card to us or to respond online if that is more convenient. Either way we hope your answer is "YES".

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!
