This place is extra special to us—we had our senior prom here and even rode the carousel, one of Alex’s favorite memories of us. While you may not dance in the middle of the Children’s Museum, we highly recommend checking out a place that helped shape our story.
Southeastway has been a part of our story for years. It’s where we laughed, explored, and where Sam asked Alex to spend forever with him—making it unforgettable.
We captured our engagement here, among books that remind us of school, love, and Alex’s never-ending reading list (with Sam happily helping).
Monument Circle sits at the heart of downtown Indianapolis and will appear in the background of our ceremony! It’s within easy walking distance from nearby spots in the city.
The canal near downtown Indianapolis has a lovely walking path. We haven’t fully explored it together yet, but it’s on our list—and Sam has definitely recommended it more than once!
This spot is very meaningful to Alex and her family. While we haven’t been to a race together yet, we’ll run the 500 Festival Mini Marathon in May 2026, and Alex can’t wait to share the track and her family’s race-day tradition with Sam.
The zoo holds plenty of childhood memories for Sam and Alex. If you’re planning a visit, buying tickets online usually saves a little.
A perfect spot for a romantic walk, indoors or outdoors. Don’t miss Funky Bones in the 100 Acres park—featured in A Fault in Our Stars, released around when Sam and Alex met!
Just over an hour from Indianapolis, Purdue holds a special place in our story. From studying and walking around campus to a few sporting events, it’s a foundation of our relationship. We recommend exploring the campus—and if you dare, walk under the bell tower!
