Please reach out if you need assistance locating clothing options. Saturday Evening: We kindly ask that you wear formal attire. Long or floor-length gowns and dresses, tuxes, or suits are appropriate. Please avoid white or similar shades. Bridesmaids will be in light blue; groomsmen in black tuxes with light blue ties. Sunday Morning: We kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing tank tops, shorts, or skirts above knee length. South Indian attire is warmly encouraged, though not required. For women, this includes sarees or salwar kameez; for gentlemen, dhotis or kurta suits. Guests may also wear cocktail attire, and vibrant colors are welcomed.
On Saturday, please arrive no later than 4:15 pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 pm. On Sunday, we ask that you arrive before 10:45 am. The ceremony is expected to start shortly after 11:00 am.
For Saturday evening, Cinderwood Event Center has a large parking lot on location with free parking in downtown Indianapolis. For Sunday morning, the Hindu Temple of Central Indiana has ample parking on location.
While we love your children, our Saturday evening wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We kindly ask that you make childcare arrangements so you can join us for the evening.
In order to fit with our venue’s capacity, we ask only those indicated on the invitation join us in our celebration, as we will not be able to accommodate additional guests.
Bring yourself and be ready to celebrate! If you plan to celebrate with a drink from the bar Saturday evening, please bring a valid ID. For Sunday morning, be sure to bring something to cover your shoulders. Shoes are not allowed in the worship hall, so feel free to bring socks if you prefer not to be barefoot. Indiana weather in June can be unpredictable, but both events will be indoors.
