The Valdez wine walk is an annual event where businesses in the community open there doors to the public and serve wine to all. It is a way for businesses to promote themselves and makes for a super fun and entertaining time. This is just one of the many gold rush events. If you really want to get into the gold rush spirit dress up like a 1800s gold miner, a saloon gal or similar character from the era. There will be some examples of this fun attire in the pictures folder.

The parade starts at 3pm! This is a fun event for everyone to enjoy. Let’s all meet at the Open Air Market @ 2:45pm then we can find a place to watch the parade :) After the parade, the boat cruise starts promptly at 6pm from the Valdez Harbor.
