We’re getting married!

Aleshia and Spencer’s story begins August 2015 in beautiful Valdez, AK. Spencer had been stationed in Valdez with the Coast Guard. He served onboard CGC Long Island, a 110ft patrol boat witch served as a search & rescue asset and conducted law enformenct operations in Prince William Sound and the Gulf of Alaska. Aleshia is a Valdez local who was born and raised in Valdez. She moved away after high school to pursue an education in Cosmotolgy at the Aveda Institute in Portland, OR. A few years later she returned to Valdez to be close to family and offer her services as a hair stylist to the community of Valdez. One day in early August, Spencer called a friend to receive his routine hair cut. The friend who was unavailable referred Spencer to Aleshia, stating she was a great hair stylist, so Spencer called and scheduled an appointment. When Spencer arrived for his appointment he was pleasantly surprised to see how beautiful the stylist was and how outgoing she was as well. Spencer (who is not one for talking during a haircut) held a conversation with Aleshia the entire time. Aleshia later called Spencer to invite him to join her for drinks and play darts at a local bar. He happily and quickly accepted the invitation. Once at the bar the two completely hit it off and the rest is history!
