Rental Car
If you plan to stay on Folly then you likely do not need to rent a care. Everything is within walking distance or you can hop on the iconic Folly Trolley or rent a bicycle. If you plan to stay off island, consider renting a car. You may be able to use Uber or Lyft but their availability to the Island varies based on traffic during peak travel times in the summer. Public transportation is NOT plentiful. Taxi services are always an option. Travel ONTO Folly--a mere 3 miles-- during peak hours (Saturday and Sunday 9am to 4pm) can take upwards for 45 minutes so plan accordingly!
