We welcome all members of the Wedding Party and all of our Out-of-Town Guests to join us for a traditional South Carolina Lowcountry Boil. We will serve up steaming pots of shrimp, corn, potatoes, and sausage along with bread, salad, and dessert. Water, tea, soft drinks, and locally brewed beer will be provided. Feel free to bring your own alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks of choice.

The Service will begin promptly at High Noon. Parking is off-street in Downtown Charleston so please allot appropriate time to find a spot and make your way to the church. A complimentary shuttle for our guests staying at The Tides on Folly will depart from the hotel at 10:45 am. Those same guests will then be transported back to the The Tides or directly to the Reception at the Newlyweds' Home on Folly Beach. The shuttle will depart from the church at 1:20 pm. All other guests are invited to head directly to the Reception after the service. Traffic going onto the ever-popular Folly Beach can take up to an hour so be patient and know that a wonderful party awaits you!

As You Like
The reception will be a laid-back elegant affair with open seating featuring a full bar and a catered buffet that combines classic Southern delicacies with Latin coastal fare. Thee will also be live music and a well-known local DJ. As most guests will be coming directly from a formal church event, we invite you to bring a bag with a lightweight change of clothes to wear (shorts, tank top, and flip flops are perfect) . A guest house with a bathroom and shower is at your disposal in which to change and store the bags. The weather that day is anticipated to be 85 degrees with 90% humidity which makes for a steamy heat index of about 105 degrees. We kindly ask that everyone be prepared to depart at 6:00 pm so the Honeymoon may commence!
