The Tides--the main hotel our guests are staying at--is located at 1 Center Street on Folly Beach. Their zip code is 29439. Their phone number is 843-588-6464.
Both are located at the home of the Newlyweds on Folly Beach. The address is 206 E Huron Avenue, Folly Beach, SC 29439.
There are several pay-to-park lots located just off Center Street (the main street as you come onto the island). Cost ranges from $5 a day to $20 a day and most will require a 3-4 block walk to the event. Otherwise, please consider parking anywhere near the house. THERE IS NO PARKING IN THE DRIVEWAY on the day of the events--that area is reserved for the caterers. Folly Parking Rules state that : You can park anywhere OFF the roadway. All 4 tires must be completely off the road. Your car must face the direction of traffic. Do not park in a crosswalk, in front of a driveway, within 20 feet of an intersection, or within 15 feet of a fire hydrant. Violation of these rules will score you an unwanted and costly ticket.

Yes! The rehearsal dinner will have sides of bread and salad and potatoes. And if you eat fish or shell food, then there will be shrimp galore. We also plan to have several large cheese pizzas on hand. The Wedding Reception will have various salads including a rich cypress salad with local tomatoes and fresh mozzarella, a brussels sprout slaw, fesh fruits and cheese, and a creamy Southern style macaroni and cheese. Again, if you eat fish, there will also be shrimp tacos made-to-order on site as well as chips and salsa. And don't forget desserts! They are all vegetarian. If you have any other food allergies or restrictions, please let our Wedding Planner Ms. Stacy Fraunfelter know by calling her: 843-709-5228.
Yes! We welcome the whole family regardless of age. Please be considerate however and step outside or move to the upstairs balcony area of the church if your child becomes animated or loud during the ceremony. At the Reception, please assist your younger children with self-service from the buffet so as to keep it from becoming to messy. Also, DO KEEP AN EYE on your children at the Reception as the property borders the Folly River. While our dock is amiable for guests to stroll and use, it is potentially unsafe for unsupervised younger children.
No. The Rehearsal and the Wedding are indoors at a well air-conditioned church. The Rehearsal dinner, while primarily outside, will be cooled by large fans. Guests may mingle on the huge wrap around screening in porches with ceiling fans or move inside to the home's living and dining areas to cool off in the air conditioning. The Wedding Reception will meld the inside with the well ventilated covered porch areas and then spill over down into the tropical shady backyard. Again, guests may opt to sit inside the house or the guesthouse to cool off as needed.
Yes, both are potential nuisances in the LowCountry's lush, humid environs.. We will have had a local company spray aggressively for mosquitos the day prior to the events to hopefully reduce their burden. Hosting the Reception midday will further reduce likelihood of mosquito bites as our local predators prefer to hunt at dawn and dusk. We will have multiple stations around the house with DEET based and non-DEET containing mosquito repellent sprays for personal use. Those same stations will have sunscreen available. Finally, we have rented several large fans to help circulate the outside air more efficiently and lessen the likelihood of a bug deciding to land on you.
Yes! Please click on the tab on this website titled "Registry" for more information. As Andrea and Adrian are merging two full stocked households, they need very little in the way of "stuff". They are instead hoping for gifts that allow them to share in experiences home and abroad together.
