Travel Note
4450 Blakely Ave NE, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110 One of things we love most about IslandWood is the ability to have all of our loved ones gather and stay in one place for the entirety of the weekend with no need or stress to travel between events. You can just show up, park your cars (if you have one), drop your bags, and relax. During the day you can explore the beautiful 250-acre property and at night you are just a stumble back to your room. Plus, all beds on property are made up with organic cotton bedding for a dreamy nights sleep! All rooms have their own bathroom and internet is available (there are no TVs at IslandWood). We have the entire property to ourselves and there are enough rooms for everyone to stay if they chose to. We invite you to stay both Friday and Saturday night if you can/want!

Flight
Our ceremony will take place on Saturday, April 20th but we have the venue for the weekend so please feel free to arrive on Friday, April 19th if you'd like. Your room will be ready for you whenever you arrive to IslandWood. Once you arrive to SeaTac you should make your way to the Seattle Ferry Terminal in downtown Seattle. You are welcome to rent a car if you'd like to do some extra exploring but you won't need a vehicle once you arrive at the ferry (though you can drive on the ferry if you'd like your car on the island). Otherwise, it is very easy to hire a taxi or a ride-share company from the airport that will take you to the ferry docks.
Travel Note
801 Alaskan Wy, Seattle, WA 98104 To get from Seattle to Bainbridge Island, you can take a Washington State Ferry (either by walking or driving onto the ferry) from downtown Seattle. Colman Dock, the Seattle ferry terminal, is located on the Seattle Waterfront at Pier 52. This is where you access Washington State Ferries to Bainbridge Island and Bremerton. You do not/cannot make reservations in advance for the ferry. You can find the schedule for ferry trips at the WSDOT. *BECAUSE TIKETS FOR BOTH ARE PURCHASED AT THE SAME TERMINAL, BE SURE TO GET TICKETS FOR THE "BAINBRIDGE" FERRY AND NOT THE "BREMERTON" FERRY* Make sure to give yourself a little extra travel time, especially on the weekends and when you’re traveling by vehicle, as ferries tend to fill up fast. If traveling by vehicle, we recommend arriving 45 minutes before the ferry time you plan to take. Walk-on passengers are advised to be at the pier with enough time to beat lines at the ticket counters, but 15 minutes before scheduled departure should be plenty of time. NOTE: The 3:05pm ferry on Saturday, April 20th, is the very latest ferry you can take if you plan to be at the wedding ceremony on time.
