Catalina Island is a car-limited island, which means traditional rental cars, Ubers, and Lyfts are not available. This helps keep the island peaceful, walkable, and easy to navigate. Most places in Avalon are within walking distance, including beaches, restaurants, shops, and hotels. If you prefer not to walk, transportation options include: Circuit (kind of like Uber): It is the cheapest way to get around the island. You can download the app here: https://www.ridecircuit.com/ Golf cart rentals (available by the hour or day) Local hotel shuttles (offered by select hotels)
