Matron of Honor
Alyx first met Kristen at Halfmoon camp in Elementary School. She was instantly impressed with Kristen after seeing her racing all of the boys – and beating them too! Fast-forward to 6th grade when they were on the same basketball team and became friends. They grew closer through high school, and discovered a mutual love for food, often frequenting their favorite spot, The Outback - though their tastes have definitely evolved since then. Alyx and Kristen then went on to be roommates for all four years of college at Siena. Kristen is usually the first person that Alyx will reach out to about anything and everything. She’s been there for Alyx through the highs and lows and is an integral part of her support system, and can always make her laugh. Kristen is a friend you can always count on, and Alyx is lucky and beyond grateful for their years of friendship. Everyone needs a friend like Kristen.
Drew Lytton
Best Man
Michael and Drew met Freshman year of college, quickly bonding over their mutual love for Manchester United and spirited debates on politics. From his early days as “Baby D”, to standing here now as Best Man, Drew has been a constant source of support, offering words of wisdom or, when needed, an honest opinion. Fun Fact: during COVID, Michael and Drew launched a parody golf apparel brand called Profanitees, merging their love of humor and golf into a fun little side gig.
James Mesiti
Bridesman
James and Alyx met at Siena College during their freshman year. Even though James transferred to a different school they remained close, and it was as if no time had passed whenever they saw each other. Alyx visited James in Barcelona while he pursued one of his Masters Degrees. He went above and beyond as a host, planning an unforgettable trip that showed his thoughtfulness in their friendship. Even though James has been away from the Albany area for the past few years, they have remained close, always a phone call away. Alyx knows she can count on James to be the first one on the dance floor, bringing joy and laughter to every event. He has been one of her biggest supporters through all of life's ups and downs. James was there to encourage Alyx to reach out to Michael in the beginning, as well as the day that Michael proposed, taking videos throughout the morning so they both have memories that they can always look back on.
Craig Mitchell
Groomsman
Michael and Craig also met Michael's freshman year of college, where they bonded over some truly awful guitar duets and quoting movies. After spending every day together coaching soccer over for a full summer after Junior year of college, their friendship was sealed. As Craig's birthday is early in the year, Michael has enjoyed helping keep the "Mitch-A-Palooza" celebration alive since college, along with creating fun t-shirts. Craig has always been there, even when it takes him a week to remember to respond to a text. Honest and loyal, he's a great north star to which to emulate. Fun Fact: Michael has never lost to Craig on FIFA, and will never play him again to keep it that way.
