Driving to Venue
If you don't plan on drinking & prefer not to take a shuttle, you are also welcome to drive directly to the wedding venue. If you end up drinking more than anticipated, we would recommend getting on the Shuttle back to the Staybridge/Colonie Center, and catching an Uber/Lyft home from there. You can pick up your car the next morning from the venue.

Shuttle to/from the Wedding

TIME IS TBD. We will provide shuttle transportation to and from the venue, with pick-up and drop-off locations at: - Staybridge Suites/Colonie Center Mall in Albany - Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Coxsackie, and - All accommodations within walking distance of Warren St in Hudson. If you’re in the Albany area and want to use the shuttle service instead of driving, you can leave your car at the Colonie Center Mall (behind the hotel) or coordinate drop off/Uber/Lyft to this location, and catch the shuttle as well. A detailed shuttle schedule will be shared with you prior to the wedding. We encourage everyone to take advantage of this service to ensure safe transportation to and from the wedding. Alyx/Michael would be happy to confirm that your lodging location will be in the shuttle route.

Albany International Airport
The closest airport to Hudson is Albany International Airport. All New York City airports are also options, but require additional travel by train (Amtrak), or by rental car, to Hudson.

The Hudson Amtrak Station is walking distance to the wedding venue and an easy drive from accommodation in Hudson. It is about a 30 minute train ride South from Albany, and 2 hour train ride North from NYC. TO HUDSON BEFORE WEDDING: - The latest train from Albany-Rensselaer to Hudson in time for the ceremony departs at 2:48pm and arrives 3:08pm (subject to change). - The latest train from NYC (Moynihan Station) to Hudson in time for the ceremony departs at 2:19pm and arrives at 4:19pm (subject to change). FROM HUDSON AFTER WEDDING: - There is a 10:56pm train from Hudson to Albany-Rensselaer (arrives 11:25pm) (subject to change). Sadly, there are no suitable trains departing Hudson for NYC after the reception. Please review closer to the date for updated schedules.

This hotel offers a convenient location and price, with shuttle service to/from the venue (about 20 min drive), and can book using the link for the room block. Alternatively you can call the hotel directly and use the Gleason-Powell wedding code for the hotel block. This may be the preferred way to book if you are not staying 2 nights, and just the night of the wedding. If you book an Airbnb or VRBO in Hudson, especially within walking distance of Warren Street, the shuttle will pick you up. If you're outside this area, please note that the shuttle may not be able to accommodate your location, and alternative transportation might be necessary.
