Ocean Palms Beach Resort

Main hotel for us/guests! We encourage you to stay here so we can all hang out! This is a tiki-themed, boutique resort with great pool, hot tub, fire pit, fitness center, etc. You need to be a guest to enjoy the amenities! Two blocks from the wedding events. Important Note: Please see our FAQ for more on this hotel. We have received a lot of questions because their website is confusing and is not showing all of the rooms, even though they are available. Please call to book this and you can be sure to get the room that is right for you and your group. Feel free to book a single room, or If you know other people coming, we encourage you to group up and share the family-style apartments here - they have multiple bedrooms, bathrooms and some even have their own private hot tubs! The discount for our group is 15% (with code "GOLDIE"). Discount applies for the entirety of your stay beyond the weekend.

This is another option for guests down the street from the Ocean Palms Hotel. We have negotiated a discount, CALL to book and mention Goldstein/Mitchell wedding. Note: there will be some construction on hotel grounds M-F during business hours. Pools will be open.

Flight

San Diego International Airport (SAN)

San Diego International Airport is the closest airport to Carlsbad, the venue and hotels. You can Lyft/Uber, taxi, drive or take a bus/train straight into the center of Carlsbad - very easy! Lyft/Uber/Taxi/Drive: about 35-40 mins in normal traffic Train - public transportation is easy and convenient! You can take a quick connector bus from the airport to the Santa Fe train depot. The connector bus comes every 15 minutes and is super easy. From the Santa Fe Depot, take the Coaster train to the Carlsbad Village Station and the hotels are an easy five minute walk or a super fast rideshare away!

Los Angeles International Airport

LAX is about a 2 hour (+ depending on traffic) drive from the venue and hotels. Amtrak from Union Station to Carlsbad Village.

The Coaster train hits all the San Diego Beach cities from Oceanside in the north, to Santa Fe Depot in San Diego.
