Want to learn how to hang 10? This is your chance! We are no longer accepting reservations for surf lessons as we had to give final numbers by April 18. If you signed up, please check your email for the group lesson times, and respond to the email with your wetsuit size/info by April 30th. Thank you!
Beach Day

Wear your Swimsuit!
We will be hanging at the beach across the street from the Ocean Palms Beach Resort all day from 10am-2pm. We will have a surf instruction (time TBD) for anyone who wants to try to hang ten! Sandcastle contest, boogie boarding and relaxation! Bring your bathing suit, towel, etc. Sometimes it can be chilly in May so keep an eye on the weather and dress accordingly! The beach day is supposed to be a causal gathering - no pressure to attend! If you're not feeling it, feel free to do something else to explore San Diego. Other activities are listed in the "Things To Do" tab at the top of your screen.
Ceremony

Enter the beach via the public access stairway. There is a sign that reads CYPRESS BEACH ACCESS. We will be down on the beach to the right, in front of the Army Navy Academy, for the ceremony. Please only wear white and/or tan for a casual beach party vibe. It can be chilly in May at night, and on the beach, so keep an eye on the weather and dress accordingly! Please, no photography or cellphones during the ceremony. Thank you for your cooperation!

The venue has limited street parking so please Lyft/Uber or walk from the ceremony and back to your hotel. Our suggested hotels are within 2 blocks of the venue! Food, drinks and dancing, with live music by Weekend Celebrity.

If you’re a guest of the Ocean Palms Resort, join us for some pool time and relaxation before you head out. (Note - everyone is welcome to join us for the brunch but you can only enjoy the pool area if you are staying at the Ocean Palms per their rules.)
