I met Acacia and Patrick at SFUAD 11 years ago. Acacia was one of my first friends at school, and not only that she was my apartment neighbor as well. I believe that being neighbors made the friendship grow and became closer. Adding life situations to that equation, Acacia took a very special and important place and role in my life. I have a ton of stories and holidays shared with Acacia and Pat, but to keep it short, I just want to add that Dobby and Ollie are best friends since puppies and Dobby absolutely loves his visits with Pat and Acacia, and of course Ollie and Rosa. I’m a blonde n’ bearded freelance videographer from Bucks County, PA. After spending most of my adolescence in and around NYC, I ventured out west to Santa Fe, NM, where I lived for the better part of 7 years. It was only hours into my beginnings in the Land of Enchantment when I first crossed paths with a young Patrick Barrow striding through the halls of my college dormitory. We made fast work of bonding over our shared love of playing music, exploring the great outdoors and varying forms of art. To this day, I remain a very creativity-driven person, and I have Pat to thank for continually nurturing that part of myself - no matter how weird it may get. My strongest memory of Pat is his unending search to find the perfect smooth rock to use as a guitar pick, and then the transcending sound that stone produced as the beach in his hand slowly ground down his instrument. Patrick and I met 10 years ago through a mutual friend in order to pursue music. While that didn't pan out (as these things do), he has grown into one of my most favorite people in the world, and in turn Acacia as well. Since this point Patrick and Acacia’s shared appreciation of sending the gnar and exploring remote areas have led to many adventures together to the far reaches of rural New Mexico. While their dogs are small, their hearts and sense of exploration are as large as the most immense chupacabra in all of the Land of Enchantment.
