The Wedding Website of Acacia Barnett and Patrick Barrow
Welcome to the Land of Enchantment! Santa Fe is a welcoming town that offers a myriad of hotel and Airbnb accommodations. Here are some of our recommendations for your stay, and some tips for getting to and around the city. In addition to these recommendations, many of the hotels and Airbnbs within the city are only a short drive away from our wedding venue, The El Rey Court.

Flight

Albuquerque International Sunport

The Albuquerque International Sunport is located about an hour south of Santa Fe by car. Transportation to Santa Fe can be arranged through Groome Transportion, the New Mexico Rail Runner Express, or through the many car rental companies located inside the airport. If you are traveling by rental car, we recommend taking the slightly longer scenic drive on the Turquoise Trail. Points of interest along the trail include Tinker Town, an eclectic, interactive museum filled with hundreds of hand-carved miniatures and coin-operated antiques; Madrid, a historic mining town turned arts destination; Cerrillos Hills State Park; and the Santa Fe Brewing Company headquarters.

Flight

Santa Fe Regional Airport

The Santa Fe Regional Airport is located twenty minutes south of downtown Santa Fe by car and offers direct flights from Denver, Phoenix, and Dallas-Fort Worth. The airport does not offer taxi service. However, transportation to and from the airport can be arranged through Uber, Lyft, and several other car services and rental agencies. More information can be found here: https://flysantafe.com/airport/transportation/.

Train

New Mexico Rail Runner Express

The New Mexico Rail Runner Express runs daily between Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Rides last from 90 minutes to 2 hours and allow riders to the take in the scenic New Mexico landscape. Train tickets can be purchased online, on the train, or through the Rio Metro ticketing app. Free shuttles travel between the Albuquerque Sunport and Albuquerque Rail Runner stations. More information about taking the shuttle to and from the airport can be found here: https://www.riometro.org/169/Coming-From-the-Airport https://www.riometro.org/175/Going-to-the-Airport
