To make the most of our destination wedding celebration, we recommend arriving at least one day before the wedding. This will provide ample time to settle in, account for any potential travel delays, and begin enjoying the stunning Colorado landscape. If your schedule permits, arriving two days prior (by September 27) is ideal - allowing you to fully relax, explore the area, and immerse yourself in the pre-wedding excitement.

Do I need a rental car?

Answer

While a car is not essential, having one can make your Colorado experience even more memorable. Rideshares and buses connect Denver International Airport to Boulder, and once you arrive, much of what you will need is close at hand. If you would like the freedom to wander through golden aspen groves or take a scenic drive through the mountains, we recommend renting a car to fully enjoy the beauty of the weekend. Will parking be available?

Answer

Yes! There is a large parking area located right in front of the entrance to the venue. Parking is free and there is plenty of space for all our guests, so no need to worry about finding a spot.

Will this be an “unplugged” ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we kindly ask that you keep your phones and cameras put away during our ceremony. Not only do we want you to be fully present with us in the moment, but there is no cell service in the mountains (a rare chance to disconnect!). We have hired an amazing photographer to capture everything, and we would love for their photos to be filled with your smiling faces—not your phones. Thank you for helping us keep the magic uninterrupted!

Will there be Wi-Fi?

Answer

Yes, Wi-Fi will be available during the cocktail hour and reception. Please note that our mountain venue has limited cell service, so we recommend connecting to Wi-Fi before making any transportation arrangements. If you are planning to use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft, be sure to set up your ride while on Wi-Fi before leaving the venue, or schedule for a pick-up in advance.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, weather permitting. The reception will begin under a beautiful tent and later transition indoors for dancing and continued celebration.

What is the weather like that time of year in Colorado?

Answer

Late September in Boulder offers a picturesque blend of warm afternoons and cool mountain evenings. Our wedding day will likely feature temperatures ranging from the upper 60s to mid-70s during the day, gently cooling to the low 50s as night falls. Colorado's mountain weather can be wonderfully unpredictable, so we recommend dressing in layers. A light jacket or wrap will keep you comfortable as the temperature shifts. While rain is uncommon, the dry mountain air means staying hydrated is key. Do not worry about the chill – we will have heaters during cocktail hour and in the tent, and we will move indoors for dancing later in the evening to ensure everyone stays warm and enjoys the celebration.

Is there a dress code?

Yes! We kindly request Formal Fall Attire that captures the elegance of the season. Gentlemen should opt for a dark suit, while ladies are invited to wear floor or ankle-length dresses or sophisticated jumpsuits. We encourage a palette of rich fall colors and jewel tones—think luxurious emerald green, warm marigold, burnt orange, deep sapphire blue, regal amethyst, classic navy, and rich terracotta. Our vision is a polished, timeless aesthetic that feels both romantic and photo-ready. Given the venue's soft grass and stairways, we recommend selecting shoes that are both stylish and practical.

Are there any colors guests should avoid?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests avoid wearing white, cream, blush, pale yellow, or similar shades, as well as floral dresses with a white or light base, so the bride can remain the radiant focal point of the day. We also ask that red and burgundy be reserved for our wedding party. Thank you for your thoughtfulness, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you and see everyone looking their most beautiful!

Will there be a coat check available?

While there will not be a formal coat check, a welcoming space will be available upstairs following the ceremony. Hangers and shelves will be provided so guests can comfortably set aside coats and personal items before returning to celebrate the evening with us. If you have an urgent item that needs to be stored before the ceremony, please let a member of the event staff know upon arrival so they can assist you with ample time.

Due to our venue's capacity limits and our vision for an intimate celebration, we can only welcome the guests specifically named on your invitation when you RSVP. For individual cases, please reach out to Abigail and Brandon. We sincerely hope you will still join us and share in our special day!

You definitely will not go hungry! We will start with six appetizers during cocktail hour, followed by a three-entrée buffet with plenty of sides. After dinner, enjoy a slice of our beautiful cake. For those still celebrating on the dance floor, a late-night snack bar will be waiting to help you refuel right before the grand send-off.

Yes! We are thrilled to offer a full open bar throughout the entire celebration, beginning with cocktail hour. Our talented bartenders will craft a selection of signature drinks, while also being prepared to mix any classic cocktail you desire.
